Biography:

Dr. Sher Wali Khan, PhD in chemistry, 2014, from QAU Islamabad, working as Assistant Professor in Department of Chemistry The Rawalpindi Women University, 6th road Satellite Town, Rawalpindi-Pakistan.

Brief statement of Research Interest:

synthetic organic chemist, green synthesis of novel chalcone, Schiff base and hydrazone type compounds, Development of new synthetic routes to prepare complex molecules based on natural products. Isolation, characterization and biological activities of secondary metabolites from plants. synthesis of chiral compounds of biological and synthetic interest using anhydride of L-tartaric acid. Synthesis of chiral amides and imides, glycopeptides, Asymmetric synthesis, synthesis of sugar-otca and glycoconjugates, synthesis of N-linked and O-linked glycosides and glycoconjugates.
